Offering Hope to Fellow Employees
Each year, members of the Grandview Medical Center family show their compassion and generosity by donating to the Hope Fund campaign. This annual campaign is led by the Grandview Foundation and Bob Little, coordinator for the Employee Assistance Program, to collect dollars for The Hope Fund, which is dedicated to helping employees who face short-term financial challenges due to unforeseen happenings like house fires and medical problems.
In the past, the Hope Fund has been utilized by employees for necessities like food, clothing and day care services, as well as for bills such as utilities, housing and medical expenses.
Little serves as coordinator for the Hope Fund. Each year, Bob comes into contact with employees who are grateful to have access to this much-needed resource in a time of need. "The Hope Fund enables just that – hope – for those who face challenges in life. Employees who selflessly contribute to this cause are sincerely devoted to supporting their fellow co-workers," he says.
Those who donate to the fund are eligible for great prizes, so watch for more details in March. To learn more, contact Bob Little at ext. 34224 or via e-mail.
